What to expect when working with Meraki
A Simple, Seamless Editing Experience
01. Let's Get to Know Your Style
Before we begin, we'll learn about your photography style, editing preferences, and overall vision.
You'll provide examples of previously edited images so we can understand the look and feel you're trying to maintain.
02. Complimentary Sample Edit
We'll edit up to 5 RAW images from a representative gallery so you can see how we approach your work.
This gives us an opportunity to make adjustments and establish your preferred editing style before beginning a full gallery.
03. Send Your Gallery
Once we're ready to begin, you'll upload your RAW files using our preferred file-sharing method.
We'll confirm receipt, review the gallery, and establish base cost and an expected delivery date.
04. Editing Begins
Your gallery is edited with consistency and attention to detail, keeping your established style and preferences in mind.
05. Quality Check & Delivery
Before delivery, every gallery receives a final review for exposure, color consistency, and overall quality.
Your completed edits are returned using the delivery method agreed upon during onboarding.
06. Feedback & Fine-Tuning
Your satisfaction matters. If something isn't quite right, we'll work together to make reasonable adjustments and continue refining your editing preferences for future galleries.

A few important policies:
Turnaround begins once all files and style references are received.
Weekends and holidays aren't included unless arranged.
Rush services depend on availability.
Large wedding galleries may require individual scheduling.
Monthly clients receive priority scheduling based on their agreed package.

Getting Started Is Easy
To ensure your galleries are edited to your expectations, we'll need:
* Original RAW image files.
* Examples of your previously edited work.
* Your Lightroom preset, if applicable.
* Any specific editing preferences or instructions.
* Notes about unusual lighting situations or special requests.
* Your preferred file delivery method.
The more we understand your style, the more consistent your galleries will become.
We recommend providing at least 10–15 examples of your preferred finished images when establishing your editing profile.
Once your style is established, future galleries become much more seamless.
**Photographers retain ownership of their original images and Meraki does not use client images for marketing without permission.

Hi, I'm Ashlee!
I'm a photographer, creative, and the person behind Meraki. Through my own photography business, I've developed a deep appreciation for the art of editing and the role it plays in bringing a photographer's vision to life.
I've always loved the creative process of editing — finding the right tones, creating beautiful skin tones, perfecting the colors, and making sure every image feels like it belongs together.
But as a photographer, I also understand how quickly editing can take over. The hours spent behind a computer can mean less time creating, growing your business, and enjoying life outside of photography.
That's why I started Meraki.
I wanted to create a personal editing service for photographers who love what they do but could use a little more breathing room. A place where your creative vision is understood, your style is respected, and your galleries are treated with the same care you put into capturing them.
My goal is simple: to help you spend less time editing and more time doing what you love.
