D & R are high school sweethearts who wanted to capture this stage of life together before D left for the summer, so we created the most dreamy wildflower field session in Mapleton. Technically, these aren’t engagement photos because they just got out of high school… but honestly, with how in love they look, they totally could be. They showed up in perfect golden hour light, laughed through the entire evening, and gave me all the nostalgic high school sweetheart vibes.
Couples sessions don’t need a big milestone — sometimes love is reason enough. And when the sky decides to go full cotton candy sunset on you? That’s just the cherry on top.
